Young players need freedom of expression to develop as creative players. They should be encouraged to try skills without fear of failing.
HTRSA cannot function without their volunteer coaches. If you played soccer as a child, or just want to be involved with your child’s activities you are an excellent candidate for being an HTRSA volunteer coach. If the thought of a bunch of kids running around scares you, don’t worry we will do our best to help you succeed.
In order to be a coach there are requirements to ensure the kids safety. These requirements include being fingerprinted (mandated by the state of New Jersey), registering with NJ Youth Soccer, getting a background check, taking a sports safety course, and taking a concussion safety course.
