Hey HTRSA and Hamilton Soccer Club families!
Dust off those cleats and get your club colors ready, because one of our absolute favorite local traditions is just around the corner. That’s right, it’s time for the annual Hamilton Memorial Day Parade!
Every year, HTRSA and HSC team up to march down the streets of Hamilton, showing off our club pride and honoring our nation’s heroes. It is always an incredible day filled with smiles, cheers, and a whole lot of community spirit.
Here is everything you need to know to join the fun:
📅 The Game Plan
- When: Monday, May 25th
- Kickoff Time: The parade starts rolling at 10:00 AM
- Arrival Time: Please arrive between 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM so we can get everyone lined up and ready to roll. (Note: Make sure it’s AM, we aren’t marching in the dark!)
- Where: Shady Lane, Hamilton, NJ
👕 Dress Code & Parade Perks
- Wear Your Uniform: We want a sea of HTRSA and HSC jerseys out there! Put on your team uniform so everyone in town knows who represents Hamilton’s best soccer talent.
- The Sweet Stuff: Walking players will get to do the best job of the day—throwing candy to the spectators! 🍬
- Got Little Legs? No worries! The parade route is about 1.25 miles long. For our younger players who might get tired walking the whole way, we will have a special club float for them to ride on! 🚚🎈
🍬 Help Us “Fund the Fun” (Candy Donations!)
Our players love throwing candy, but as you can imagine, a mile-long parade route requires a lot of sweets! To help us offset the cost of the candy the kids give out, we are asking for small donations from our amazing community.
Every little bit helps put a smile on a kid’s face (both the ones throwing it and the ones catching it!).
