HTRSA will be hosting two summer camps for players to hone their skill. HTRSA is dedicated to the development of players through positive experiences and quality training. The HTRSA rec program is for players who are exploring the beautiful game and want to enjoy it. In addition to the rec program, HTRSA has a competitive travel program, Hamilton Soccer Club (https://hamiltonsoccerclub.com) that is available for players that are looking for a more dedicated and competitive environment.
HTRSA has been offering an in season goalie camp that has been very successful and well received. Building on this, Coach Moe will be running a week long goalie camp open to players of all skill levels. The cost is very competitive at $50 and will give players an opportunity to improve their skills or to explore whether they might want to be a goalie in the future. HTRSA will also be hosting a Philadelphia Union summer camp at their complex August 5th-8th from 5 PM to 8 PM. This is one of the new additions to HTRSA now that they have signed an affiliation agreement with the MLS Philadelphia Union. The camp will be co-ed and open to all skill levels for kids 5-14. Each participant will be provided with a t-shirt and snack. The camp will be run by Philadelphia Union trainers.
“We are excited that our partnership with the Union will allow us to offer more services to our community. This summer camp is the first thing that we have planned with more opportunities coming in the future” said Brian Addis HTRSA President.
This summer camp is the first of, what we hope will be, many more in the future. “This is sort of a trial balloon. We want to see how much interest there is in the community before we commit to more dates. We expect that there will be a lot of interest to train with MLS affiliated trainers and get a top flight soccer education” added Nelson Hernandez HSC commissioner.
